Job Overview

Duration: 6 months C2H

Location: NYC – Needs to Report to office from Mar ’22 – Hybrid model- Mid Town.

Rate: Based on experience 

 

Big Data Skills:

8+ years’ experience in the following areas: 

· Experience in development using Hadoop/Spark.

· Experience developing back end components in Java including real time report generation, batch processing and integration with downstream systems

· Good Core Java knowledge  

· A track record of building scalable and maintainable applications.

· Previous experience delivering high volume reporting applications.

 

Mandatory Skills:

· Spark.

· Hadoop/ Big Data technologies.

· Continuous Integration (ideally TeamCity).

· Experience working in an Agile based team – ideally Scrum.

· Java.

 

Desirable skills:

· Oracle and PL/SQL.

· Scala / Akka / Reactive patterns.

· Test Driven Development.

· HTML 5/CSS 3.

· Javascript and Javascript based UI libraries including Angular.js.

· Team management.
